Jacob Moore is a proud native of Montgomery County having graduated from North Montgomery High School, Wabash College, and the Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Jacob began his legal career as an intern with the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office as an undergraduate at Wabash College. In 2017 Jacob became an associate attorney at the Henthorn, Harris & Weliever firm in downtown Crawfordsville. Jacob then served as a Deputy Public Defender with the Montgomery County Public Defender's Office, serving as a Defense Attorney on the Montgomery County Drug Treatment Court. In 2020 Jacob started with the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office. Since 2020 Jacob has been primarily assigned to Superior Court 2, but has handled cases in all 3 of Montgomery County's Courts. Jacob has served as the Prosecutor's representative on the Montgomery County Veteran's Treatment Court and is currently the Prosecutor's representative on the Montgomery County Drug Treatment Court. Jacob is currently a member of the Montgomery County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Jacob conducts regular trainings, legal update sessions, and question and answer sessions with local law enforcement agencies.
